Active CAmpaigns
Para Olympics
We support training and participation of persons with disability in Para Sports both para-athletics and team events such as Sitting Cricket and Wheelchair Basketball. This support is offered both for inmates of the Shelter as well as persons from the community.
Shelter for Women
We are implementing a Shelter for Women with Disability under the National Urban Livelihood Mission with the support of the Greater Chennai Corporation since April 2016. At a time more than 35 women with all disabilities from all over Tamilnadu stay here and are linked to various services.
Our Success
Over the years we have conducted several capacity building programs, facilitated participatory and interactive sessions, developed guidelines and training modules on a wide range of topics including health services delivery, child rights, program management, gender, sex and sexuality, disability rights, livelihood and entrepreneurship. We do this for our partners or for our own beneficiaries based on need.
